Program Goals and Objectives

The Mid-Atlantic College Health Association annual meeting "Building More in Baltimore" will:

  • Provide opportunity to bridge the various health care disciplines in the college health environment, creating an infrastructure to share ideas and build relationships among attendees.
  • Define best practices in the physical, psychological and social context of college health, with an ethical commitment to quality and provision for public health concerns.
  • Promote continuing educations with a multidisciplinary approach to health care and wellness initiatives


Target Audience

This program is intended for nursing professionals, physicians, physician assistants, health educators, student affairs staff and students working with the college student population.


NEW THIS YEAR

A special health promotion track has been initiated to ensure that all sessions will be have at least one topic applicable to health promotion professionals and provide appropriate continuing education opportunities for this important aspect of college health.
